I have known Nadja since October 2016 and she is one of the most passionate, creative, intelligent and ambitious individuals I have met. Her global vision and leadership in driving change is an inspiration for all who work with her. Through her excellent verbal and written communication skills, she has an innate ability to present complex strategic issues in an effective and concise manner. Nadja is an outstanding role model and a talented thought leader who continues to make a difference in the international security and defence sector. I am looking forward to seeing what the future will bring Nadja. She will without a doubt continue to be instrumental for all organizations she will be working for.

Nadja gave me an opportunity when few would have straight out of University – she gave me the start at the organization where I wanted to work since I was young, and I will never truly be able to repay her for this opportunity. From my very first day at work, she’s made me feel at home, making sure that I feel part of the team and as nothing less than a colleague and friend, despite my age and position. Her trust and support has allowed me to progress and develop quickly professionally, assume responsibility for tasks seemingly out of my depth, and make my mark within the organization. While I wasn’t sure what to expect in the very beginning, now, after working together for two years, it is clear that Nadja’s had an immense and direct impact on my professional career. Her nurturing and compassionate approach to her colleagues, always looking to reaffirm their human and professional value, and the constructive criticism she provides based on her extensive experience and insights, have been the hallmark of her professional and personal interactions. I’m very grateful for having been able to learn from and grow together with Nadja for the past 2 years, and I’m sure that I have not only gained an exceptional colleague, but a friend.

The way I met Nadja already tells a lot about her qualities. I had checked her LinkedIn profile, not daring to send a request. She did though, she had the right intuition. I needed a mentor, somebody to give me confidence and to show me the doors I could open. I have had this luxury for a year now, to know I could always reach out for questions or even just to share my experiences and get thoughtful insights about society, the workplace and myself. Nadja, thank you so much!
Béatrice Cadet, Threat analyst at Bitdefender, December 2018
Nadja has been an extraordinary colleague, mentor and most of all friend. She helped me navigate through the toughest moments of my personal life and professional career, where I was questioning a lot of certainties and pillars of my life. She listened without judging, offered critical advice, and coached me through the challenging journey conveying her energy, passion and courage. She is somebody that does not stop in front of difficulties and negative judgement from others, and I strongly admire her willingness to just look ahead and find the positive in everything. She is definitely a role model for many women at NATO and beyond.
Diana DeVivo, Executive Coordinator, Executive Management at NATO Communication and Information Agency, and Programme Office Young Professionals In Foreign Policy, December 2018
While Nadja is not part of my staff, she has been exceptional in helping ensure that gender diversity and implementing gender perspectives becomes mainstream within NATO. She is a passionate individual with a clear vision and strong desire to help others. Nadja is an outstanding role model for other young female professionals who need the confidence boost to pursue their career ambitions in a male-dominated security environment.
